疾病管制署は本日（3月12日）、先週新たに増えた本土麻疹症例は無かったが、輸入症例2例が確定診断されたと発表したが、それぞれ3月7日と9日に地方の衛生局が発表した台湾籍の20代と30代女性で、いずれも2月27日にマレーシアから初発症例と同じフライトで入国した旅客であり、彼らは先に、接触者としてリストされ、健康教育と追跡されていた。疑い症状が現れた後に衛生単位が手配した病院でフライト中に当該確診症例と接触して感染したものであり、航空機でのクラスター感染者と判断されたと発表した。 両名患者の発症日は3月3日と4日、発疹が現れたのは3月4日と6日であり、現時点では二人とも隔離を解除されているが、既に衛生単位は各項の予防・管理活動を展開するほか、接触者の追跡管理を引き続き実施している。

The Department of Disease Control (hereinafter referred to as the CDC) stated today (March 12) that there were no new local measles cases last week, but there were 2 new confirmed cases of imported measles. They Taiwanese female in her 20s and 30s, were announced by the local health bureau on March 7 and 9 respectively, they were all passengers on the same flight as the first confirmed case imported from outside Malaysia on February 27. They had all been listed as contacts by the health unit for health education and tracing. After suspected symptoms appeared, the health unit arranged for medical treatment. It was determined that the infection was due to contact with the confirmed case during the flight, and it was an aircraft infection cluster. 另依據WHO監測資料顯示，今年美、加、韓、澳洲及歐洲等非疫區國家均持續出現境外移入病例或小規模疫情，顯示各國於新型冠狀病毒病大流行後，因疫苗覆蓋率有所下降而正受麻疹疫情再度爆發的威脅。世界衛生組織亦發出警告提醒各國儘快採取緊急預防措施，否則，一半以上的國家將面臨麻疹爆發的高風險威脅。
