疾病管制署は、本日10月11日、先週も新たにデング熱の死者5名を発表したが、年齢は60代から80代で、全てが男性で全員に基礎疾患があったが、発症後4日～18日以内に容体の悪化により死亡したと発表した。衛生単位は既に患者の居住地および活動地域で関連予防・管理作業を完了すると同時に地元住民への衛生教育宣伝を強化している。

The Department of Disease Control and Prevention announced today (October 11) five new local death cases of dengue fever last week. The ages ranged from their 60s to their 80s, all are males and had underlying diseases and died within 4 to 18 days after onset unfortunately. The health unit has completed relevant prevention and control work in the case’s residence and activity areas, and has strengthened health education propaganda to the local people.
