疾病管制署（以下、疾管署）は、本日（7月09日）、先週（7月02日～7月08日）、国内でデング熱の新規症例は0例であったが、今年（2024年）、7月08日時点で、確認されているデング熱の本土症例は合計166例（うち夏入り後は累計2例）、となっているとともに、累計の患者数分布は、高雄市で137例、台南市で19例、屏東県9例および嘉義県1例となった。同時に重傷者計2例が報告されている；さらに、先週新たに輸入症例が6例増えたが、感染国はそれぞれインドネシア3例、フィリピン、シンガポールとタイで各1例となっている。輸入症例では、今年はこれまでに119例となっており、2020年～2023年の同期（5～68例）より増えている。感染地は主に東南アジア諸国であり、インドネシアの61例が最多で、マレーシアの18例およびタイの10例がこれに次いでいる。海外からの輸入リスクは依然として続いていると発表。

The Department of Disease Control and Prevention (hereinafter referred to as the CDC) stated today (Jul. 09) that there were no new local cases of dengue fever in the country last week (7/2-7/8). As of Jul 08, this year (2024), there have been a total of 166 confirmed local cases of dengue fever (including a total of 2 cases since the beginning of summer). The distribution of cases in Kaohsiung City is 137 cases, 19 cases in Tainan City, 9 cases in Pingtung County and 1 case in Chiayi County, and a total of 2 severe cases; In addition, there were 6 new imported cases last week. The infected countries were Indonesia (3 cases), the Philippinesm Singapore and Thailand (1 case each).
