疾病管理予防センター（以下CDC）は、「7月18日、台湾で新たにサル痘（Mpox）の症例11例が増えたが、うち10例が台湾籍の本土症例、1例が中国からの輸入症例であったと発表。居住県・市は北部（7例）、中部（2例）、南部（2例）、東部（0例）となっており、年齢的には20代～40代、発症日は6月26日～7月14日の間で、発熱やリンパ腺腫大、水疱、膿疱などの症状が相次いで現れ、医師の診察を受けたのちに検査・報告され、7月11日～7月17日の間に確診された。疫学調査の結果、高リスクの接触者計16名がリスト化され、既に健康教育と21日間の自己健康観察を受けている。台湾は2022年6月23日以来、Mpoxを第二類の法廷感染症に指定しているが、7月17日までに累計で243例（本土症例227例、輸入症例16例）が確診されており、うち178例は既に回復、6例が入院中、59例が自宅での自主健康管理中だ」

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(18)日公布國內新增11例猴痘(Mpox)確定病例，其中10例為本土、1例為境外移入個案(中國)，其中10例為本國籍男性、1例外國籍男性，居住縣市為北部7例、中部2例、南部2例，年齡介於20多歲至40多歲，發病日介於今(2023)年6月26日至7月14日，因身體陸續出現發燒、淋巴腺腫大、水泡、膿疱等症狀，經醫師評估後採檢通報，分別於7月11日至7月17日確診。經疫調匡列相關高風險接觸者16名，已進行衛教並自我健康監測21天。我國自去(2022)年6月23日將Mpox列為第二類法定傳染病，截至7月17日累計確診243例病例(227例本土及16例境外移入)，其中178例已康復，6例仍住院治
