中央研究院のP3実験室の女性研究員（第16816号）が武漢肺炎（新型コロナウィルス、 COVID-19）と確診されたが、台北市の柯文哲市長は、本日午後記者会見を開き感染の状況を説明した。
柯文哲市長は、第16816号はネズミに噛まれてはいたが、これまでのところCOVID-19には動物からヒトへの感染はない。 確かにウィルスが外に漏れたことが原因ではあるが、すでに調査グループも結成されており、中央研究院に行き詳細な調査を行い、環境を検査してどのようにして漏れ出たのかを確認しているとした； 副市長の黄珊珊は、当該患者がネズミに二度かまれており、最後に噛まれたのは11月19日であり、11月26日に咳の症状が現れ、12月8日に嗅覚味覚異常が現れたと明かした。
黄珊珊副市長は、「第16816号は25歳の女性で、中央研究院のゲノム研究センターで研究者として働いていたが、彼女は6月28日、7月26日にモデルナのワクチン二度接種していた。彼女には入出国の記録はなく、ずっと中央研究院のゲノム研究センターの作業室で働いていた。 10月15日に感染したネズミに噛まれていたが、当時、迅速診断では陰性となっていたが、実験室の作業はしておらず、1か月後の11月19日にまた感染したネズミに噛まれ、この時には迅速診断はしていなかった」と指摘。
黄珊珊は、第16816号は、11月26日に咳が出始め、12月1日に頻繁に咳をするようになり、12月4日にはくしゃみと鼻水が、1月8日には嗅覚味覚異常が出現したため、クリニックに行くとともに購入した迅速診断により陽性となったため、12月9日にボーイフレンドが彼女を病院に連れてゆき台湾市立連合医

A female researcher in the P3 laboratory of the Academia Sinica (case 16816) was diagnosed with Wuhan pneumonia (new coronavirus disease, COVID-19). Taipei Mayor Ke Wenzhe held an epidemic press conference this morning to explain the epidemic. Ke said that although case 16816 was bitten by a rat, there is currently no case of animal-to-human transmission of COVID-19. She was bitten by an infected rat on 10/15, and was negative after a quick screening, so she did not enter the laboratory. A month later, she was bitten by an infected rat again on 11/19, but this time no quick screening was performed.
Huang Shanshan further explained, “Case 16816 started coughing on 11/26, frequent coughing on 12/1, sneezing and runny nose on 12/4, abnormal smell and taste on 12/8, she went to the clinic and bought a quick screening agent of which result turned out positive. On December 9th, her boyfriend took her to Taipei City Hospital and referred her to Zhongxiao District for screening. The PCR was positive and the CT value was 15.17. Upon receipt of the notification, emergency response and inspections were made.”

中央研究院P3實驗室女研究人員（個案16816）確診武漢肺炎（新型冠狀病毒病，COVID-19），台北市長柯文哲今上午開疫情記者會說明疫情，柯表示，雖然案16816被老鼠咬到，但目前COVID-19沒有動物傳人的案例，他認為因是病毒外洩，目前也組成調查小組，將去中研院作詳細調查、檢查環境，看是如何洩出來；副市長黃珊珊則透露，該案曾被老鼠染疫咬過兩次，最後一次被咬是在11/19，11/26開始咳嗽、12/8嗅味覺異常。
黃珊珊指出，案16816是25歲的女性，在中研院基因體研究中心作研究人員，已經在6/28、7/26接種過兩劑莫德納疫苗，沒有任何出入境紀錄，唯一工作室在中研究基因體研究中心，10/15日曾被染疫老鼠咬，當時有做快篩陰性，便沒進實驗室操作，一個月後11/19再度被染疫老鼠咬傷，可是這次沒有再做快篩。
黃珊珊進一步說明，案16816在11/26開始咳嗽，12/1頻繁咳嗽、12/4打噴嚏及流鼻水、12/8嗅味覺異常，去診所也買了快篩劑發現呈陽性，12/9由男友帶她去醫院轉介到忠孝院區作篩檢，PCR陽性，CT值是15.17，接到通報就作了緊急應變及採檢。
柯文哲表示，應該要先清查全台灣處理COVID-19的實驗室，看相關人員有沒有打滿疫苗，流程也要檢查一遍，
