10月31日、農業農村部は、 吉林省畜牧業管理局から、吉林省公主嶺市におけるアフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下 『ASF』 ）感染地区について 評価検収基準に合格した為、その封鎖を解除するとの報告を受け取った。
公主嶺市でのASF発生後、現地は、 『ASF緊急対応プラン』と『ASF予防管理技術規範』の要求に従い、封鎖や殺処分、消毒、無害化処理などの対応措置を講じてきた。 感染地区内では、ブタの殺処分完了後6週間の連続モニタリング調査をしてきたが、域内からのASF発症例や陽性サンプルの新たな発見は見つからなかった。
10月30日 ～ 31日、吉林省畜牧業管理局及び公主嶺市畜牧獣医局は 専門家グループを組織し、 汚染地区に対する実験室での検査と現場での評価検収を実施。 検収の結果、感染地区の封鎖解除規定に符合しており、ASFが既に消滅しているものと判断した。 現地政府は 11月01日 00:00時をもって正式に当該地区の封鎖解除令を出す予定だ。 農業農村部は 現地畜牧獣医部門に対し、ASFのモニタリングの強化を

On October 31, 2018, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the Jilin Provincial Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Administration mentioning the infected are of African Swine area at Gongzhuling City of Jilin Province will be released from the blockade after passing the assessment and acceptance.
After the occurrence of the African swine fever outbreak at Gongzhuling City, the local authorities adopted measures such as blockade, culling, disinfection and harmless treatment in accordance with the “Emergency Plan for African Swine Fever Situation” and “Technical Specifications for Prevention and Control of African Swine Fever”. After the completion of the culling of the pigs in the epidemic area, through 6 weeks of continuous monitoring and investigation, there were neither new cases found nor positive monitoring results.
On October 30-31, the Jilin Provincial Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Administration and Gongzhuling City’s Animal Husbandary and Veteranary bureau organized an expert team to conduct laboratory tests and on-site assessment and acceptance of the affected area. 农业农村部10月31日接到吉林省畜牧业管理局报告，经评估验收合格，吉林省公主岭市非洲猪瘟疫区将解除封锁。
公主岭市非洲猪瘟疫情发生后，当地按照非洲猪瘟疫情应急预案和非洲猪瘟防治技术规范要求，采取了封锁、扑杀、消毒、无害化处理等疫情处置措施。疫区内应扑杀生猪扑杀完成后，经6周连续监测排查，疫区内未发现新的病例和监测阳性。
10月30日至10月31日，吉林省畜牧业管理局和公主岭市畜牧兽医局组织专家组对疫区进行实验室检测和现场评估验收，验收结果符合关于疫区解除封锁的有关规定，该起非洲猪瘟疫情已被扑灭。当地政府计划于11月1日零时正式对疫区解除封锁。农业农村部要求当地畜牧兽医部门继续加强疫情监测排查，采取积极的防控措施，防止
