山東省は、全国第27番目のアフリカ豚コレラ（宮本注： 以下『ASF』）発生省級行政区となったが、香港、マカオ及び台湾地区を除き、全国では僅か4つの省だけがアウトブレイクの無い省となってしまった。2月20日、農業農村部新聞弁公室は、 中国動物衛生疫学センターによる確診を経て、済南市莱蕪区にある某養豚場でASFが発生したとの情報を発した。当該養豚場では、4,504頭が飼育されていたが、17頭が発揚、3頭が死亡している。
済南市雪野旅游区茶業口鎮政府の責任者1名は、ASF発生は当該鎮東腰関村万高発養豚場で発生したが、ASFの処置活動が進められていると財新記者に語った。
農業農村部の公式サイトによると、2月20日、農業農村部は、中国動物衛生疫学センターの確診を経て、済南市莱蕪区にある某養豚場でASFが発生したという中国動物疾病予防管理センターからの報告を受領した。
