10月11日、農業農村部新聞弁公室は、遼寧省大連市でアフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下『ASF』）が 集団発生したと発表した。
10月11日10時、農業農村部は、中国動物衛生疫学センター（国家外来動物疾病研究センター）が、遼寧省動物疾病予防管理センターから検査に送付されたサンプルをASFと確定診断したとの中国動物疾病予防管理センター報告を受け取った。陽性反応を示したサンプルは大連市普蘭店区のある養豚場からのもので、当該養豚家にいたブタ1,353頭のうち 20頭が発症、11頭が病死していた。

On October 11, 2018, the Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced that African Swine Fever epidemic occurred in Dalian City of Liaoning Province.
At 10:00 on October 11, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center.
