10月16日、農業農村部新聞弁公室は、遼寧省鉄嶺市と盤錦市でアフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下『ASF』）が 検出されたと発表した。
10月15日20時、農業農村部は、中国動物衛生疫学センター（国家外来動物疾病研究センター）が、
遼寧省鉄嶺市開原市慶雲堡鎮、盤錦市大窪区清水鎮と王家街道の3か所でのASF発生を確定診断したとの中国動物疾病予防管理センター報告を受け取った。うち、
鉄嶺市の開原市慶雲堡鎮にある養豚専業企業には6,640頭のブタが飼育されていたが、50頭が発症、14頭が病死；
盤錦市大窪区清水鎮の養豚場には4,323頭のブタが飼育され、うち1,030頭が発症し、1,030頭が病死；
盤錦市大窪区王家街道の養豚場には3,223頭のブタがいたが、31頭が発症、20頭が病死した。

On October 16th, the Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced that Tieling City and Panjin City of Liaoning Province detected three (3) African Swine Feverepidemics.
At 20 o’clock on October 15, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center reporting that the China Center for Animal Health and Epidemiology (National Center for Animal Diseases Research) diagnosed three (3) ASF epidemics occurred in Qingyunbu Town of Kaiyuan City, Tieling City, Qingshui Town, Dajin District, and Wangjia Street in Panjin City, Liaoning Province.
Among them, a company specializing in breeding pigs in Qingyunbu Town of Kaiyuan City, Tieling City, had 6,640 live pigs, of which 50 pigs got sick and 14 died;
Another farm in Qingshui Town of Datun District, Panjin City, were breeding 4,323 live pigs, of which 1,030 pigs got sick and 1,030 died;
The other farm in Wangjia Street of Datun District in Panjin City, had 3,223 live pigs, among them 31 pigs got sick and 20 died.
Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a supervising team to the site. 农业农村部新闻办公室10月16日发布，辽宁省铁岭市和盘锦市排查出生猪非洲猪瘟疫情。
10月15日20时，农业农村部接到中国动物疫病预防控制中心报告，经中国动物卫生与流行病学中心（国家外来动物疫病研究中心）确诊，辽宁省铁岭市开原市庆云堡镇、盘锦市大洼区清水镇和王家街道排查出3起非洲猪瘟疫情。
其中，
铁岭市开原市庆云堡镇一养殖专业合作社存栏生猪6640头，发病50头，死亡14头；
盘锦市大洼区清水镇一养殖场存栏生猪4323头，发病1030头，死亡1030头；
盘锦市大洼区王家街道一养殖场存栏生猪3223头，发病31头，死亡20头。
