中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本3月15日、新たにCOVID-19の輸入症例5例が確定診断されたが、夫々フィリピン（第987、989、990、991号）及びフランス（第988号）からの症例であった」と発表。
指揮センターは、「第987号患者は、30代のフィリピン籍女性で、2021年2月28日に就労のため来台、出国3日以内の陰性証明を保持していたが、入国時に症状はなく、集中検疫ステーションにて隔離を受け、3月13日に隔離期間満了前検査を実施したところ本日確診されたが、ここまでずっと無症状であった。 患者は感染の恐れがある期間中はヒトとの接触はなかったため、接触者リストは作らなかったと発表。
指揮センターは、「第988号患者は、50代のフランス籍男性で、第982号の同僚である。 2021年1月12日に就労のため来台、出国3日以内の陰性証明を保持していたが、入国時に症状はなく、防疫ホテルにて隔離を受け、隔離期間満了後に場所を変えて2月3日まで自主健康管理をしていたが、期間中は全く症状がなく、3月12日の自費検査の結果も陰性であったが、3月13日に、第982号の接触者であったと衛生単位が通知をして接触者の検査を手配したところ、本日確定診断された（Ct値は34、IgM陽性、IgG陽性）。 第982号患者の接触者は、合計8人がリスト化されており、検査が必要な人が6人いたが、第988号以外は皆陰性であった」と発表している。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (15) that Taiwan added 5 new confirmed cases of imported cases of COVID-19 imported from the Philippines (Case 987, 989, 990, 991) and France (Case 988) respectively.
The command center said, Case 987 is a Filipino woman in her 30s. She came to work in Taiwan on February 28, 2021. She had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. She entered the country asymptomatic and went to the quarantine station for centralized quarantine after entry. On March 13, she was examined before the expiry date of isolation for quarantine and was diagnosed today. She has been asymptomatic all the way from her entry to now. Since the case had no contact with others during the contagious period, the contacts were not listed.
The command center pointed out that case 988 was a French male in his 50s and a colleague of Case 982. He came to Taiwan to work on January 12 this year. He had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. He was asymptomatic from his enter to Taiwan. He went to the epidemic prevention hotel for home quarantine. After the expiration of isolation, he went to other place for independent health management until February 3. During his isolation period, he was asymptomatic. 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(15)日公布國內新增5例境外移入COVID-19確定病例，分別自菲律賓(案987、989、990、991)及法國(案988)入境。
指揮中心表示，案987為菲律賓籍30多歲女性，今(2021)年2月28日來臺工作，持有搭機前3日內陰性檢驗報告，入境時無症狀，入境後至檢疫所集中檢疫，3月13日進行期滿前採檢，於今日確診，至今皆無症狀。由於個案可傳染期間無與他人接觸，故不匡列接觸者。
指揮中心指出，案988為法國籍50多歲男性，為案982同事，今年1月12日來臺工作，持有搭機前3日內陰性檢驗報告，入境時無症狀，至防疫旅館進行居家檢疫，期滿後至其他住所自主健康管理至2月3日，期間皆無症狀，3月12日自費採檢結果陰性，3月13日由衛生單位通知為案982接觸者，安排接觸者採檢，於今日確診(Ct值38，IgM陽性、IgG陽性)。案982接觸者共匡列8人，需採檢6人，除案988外皆為陰性。
