台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日01月17日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は19,970例（うち本土症例19,658例、輸入症例312例）；更に、確診症例中、30例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例19,658例は、5歳未満から90代以上の男性9,063例、女性10,584例、性別調査中11例となる。患者分布は、新台北市（3,931例）、高雄市（2,468例）、台中市（2,419例）、台北市（2,114例）、桃園市（1,926例）、台南市（1,672例）、彰化県（904例）、苗栗県（543例）、新竹県（540例）、新竹市（509例）、雲林県（429例）、屏東県（423例）、南投県（323例）、基隆市（289例）、嘉義県（276例）、宜蘭県（271例）、花蓮県（200例）、嘉義市（177例）、台東県（118例）、金門県（71例）、澎湖県（42例）、連江県（13例）となる」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Jan. 17) that there were 19,970 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 19,658 local and 312 imported cases; further, there were 30 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 19658 local cases today are 9063 males and 10584 females, (11 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is as follows: New Taipei City (3931 cases), Kaohsiung City (2468 cases), Taichung City (2419 cases), Taipei City (2114 cases), Taoyuan City (1926 cases), Tainan City (1672 cases), Changhua County (904 cases), Miaoli County (543 cases), Hsinchu County (540 cases), Hsinchu City (509 cases), Yunlin County (429 cases), Pingtung County (423 cases), Nantou County (323 cases), Keelung City (289 cases), Chiayi County (276 cases), Yilan County (271 cases), Hualien County (200 cases), Chiayi City (177 cases), Taitung County (118 cases), Jinmen County (71 cases), Penghu County (42 cases), Lianjiang County (13 cases).
