台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日01月04日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は33,871例（うち本土症例33,330例、輸入症例541例）；更に、確診症例中、17例（うち1例は輸入）の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例33,330例は、5歳未満から90代以上の男性15,334例、女性17,974例、性別調査中22例となる。患者分布は、新台北市（6,621例）、台中市（4,381例）、台北市（3,763例）、高雄市（3,613例）、桃園市（3,476例）、台南市（2,915例）、彰化県（1,445例）、新竹県（1,138例）、新竹市（939例）、苗栗県（843例）、屏東県（694例）、雲林県（628例）、嘉義県（499例）、南投県（497例）、基隆市（461例）、宜蘭県（443例）、嘉義市（324例）、花蓮県（230例）、台東県（173例）、金門県（137例）、澎湖県（93例）、連江県（17例）となる」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Jan. 04) that there were 33,871 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 33,330 local and 541 imported cases; further, there were 17 deaths (of which 1 is imported from abroad).
The command center stated that the new 33330 local cases today are 14334 males and 17974 females, (22 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is as follows: New Taipei City (6621 cases), Taichung City (4381 cases), Taipei City (3763 cases), Kaohsiung City (3613 cases), Taoyuan City (3476 cases), Tainan City (2915 cases), Changhua County (1445 cases), Hsinchu County (1138 cases), Hsinchu City (939 cases), Miaoli County (843 cases), Pingtung County (694 cases), Yunlin County (628 cases), Chiayi County (499 cases), Nantou County (497 cases), Keelung City (461 cases), Yilan County (443 cases), Chiayi City (324 cases), Hualien County (230 cases), Taitung County (173 cases), Jinmen County (137 cases), Penghu County (93 cases), Lianjiang County (17 cases).

指揮中心表示，今日新增之33,330例本土病例，為15,334例男性、17,974例女性、22例調查中，年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲以上，個案分布為新北市(6,621例)，臺中市(4,381例)，臺北市(3,763例)，高雄市(3,613例)，桃園市(3,476例)，臺南市(2,915例)，彰化縣(1,445例)，新竹縣(1,138例)，新竹市(939例)，苗栗縣(843例)，屏東縣(694例)，雲林縣(628例)，嘉義縣(499例)，南投縣(497例)，基隆市(461例)，宜蘭縣(443例)，嘉義市(324例)，花蓮縣(230例)，臺東縣(173例)，金門縣(137例)，澎湖縣(93例)，連江縣(17例)。
