中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本5月25日、台湾では新たにCOVID-19確診症例が283例増えたが、それぞれ本土症例281例及び、輸入症例2例となり、本土症例261例が先週各曜日の患者数に修正反映され総計544例となった。 確診症例中、新たに6例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例281例が見つかったが、5歳から90代までの男性144人、女性137人で、発病日/検査日については、2021年5月7日～5月24日であった： 患者分布をみると、新北市が154例と最多で、これに、台北市の49例、桃園市の16例、台南市、基隆市及び彰化県の10例、台中市9例、屏東県及び新竹市各4例、高雄市、宜蘭県各3例、台東県、南投県及び苗栗県各2例、新竹県、雲林県及び花蓮県各1例が続く。 修正され各曜日に振り分け追加された261人の内訳は、10歳から90代までの男性162人、女性99人で、発病日/検査日については、2021年5月2日～5月22日であった： 患者分布をみると、台北市が155例と最多、次いで、新北市の89例、宜蘭県、桃園市各5例、基隆市及び彰化県各3例、台中市の1例が続く。上述患者中、萬華活動歴関連186例、茶芸館関連28例、某社会団体関連2例、果物屋台商人関連7例、その他感染源が既に判明したもの122例、関連が不明なもの111例、感染源調査中86例となっている。 関連の調査は今なお進められている。」と発表した。
