指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例334例が見つかったが、5歳から80代までの男性157人、女性177人で、発病日/検査日については、2021年5月10日～5月23日であった： 患者分布をみると、新北市が177例と最多だが、うち板橋区で43例が最多だ。これに、台北市の99例（最多は萬華区の38例）が続き、桃園市19例、彰化県12例、基隆市、台中市各7例、高雄市5例、屏東県及び台南市各3例、南投県及び新竹県各1例となっている。
修正され各曜日に追加された256人の内訳は、5歳から90代までの男性157人、女性99人で、発病日/検査日については、2021年5月14日～5月22日であった： 患者分布をみると、台北市が148例と最多だが、うち萬華区が76例で最多となっており、次いで、新北市の99例（板橋区で最多の34例）、桃園市6例、苗栗県2例、台中市1例となっている。上述患者中、萬華活動歴関連200例、茶芸館関連34例、某社会団体関連6例、果物屋台商人関連6例、その他感染源が既に判明したもの138例、関連が不明なもの101例、感染源調査中105例となっている。 関連の調査は今なお進められている。」と発表した。
