2035 年に結核を撲滅するという世界保健機関の目標に応え、「Yes! We Can #End TB」という今年（2024年）3月24日の世界結核デーのテーマは、2035年までに結核を撲滅するという目標を達成するために、結核の予防と管理の重要性を訴えている。医衛生福利部疾病管制署（以下CDC）は本日（3月22日）、台北駅1階の多目的展示場において「結核はストップ、見て聞いて、検査を勧めよう」という2024年世界結核デー記者会見を開催、県・市の衛生局22局と連携して、潜在性結核感染症（LTBI）の検査および治療の重要性を共同で推進し、この記者会見後に呼吸器感染症である結核はいまだ撲滅されていないことを国民に訴えるため、Facebookチェックインイベントを開催した。結核を撲滅するという目標を達成するには、

In response to the World Health Organization’s 2035 goal to eliminate tuberculosis, as the theme of World Tuberculosis Day this year (2024), March 24, is “Yes! We Can #End TB”, calls for the importance of tuberculosis prevention and control to achieve the goal of eliminating tuberculosis by 2035.
