疾病予防管理センター（以下CDC）は、8月22日、台湾で3月20日に新制度が導入されて以後、直近7日間（8月16日～ 8月22日）の本土コロナ確診症例（合併症）の日々平均は、本土症例50例となり、前の週の7日間（8月09日～ 8月15日）の日々60例から17％の下降； 5月からの本土合併症患者の累計は18,316例となり、うち9,082例（約50％）がワクチン接種3回未満だが、そのうち6,420例（約71％）が1度も接種をうけていなかった。先週（8月13日～ 8月19日）は1日あたり11例が死亡したが前の週（8月06日～ 8月12日）の日々死亡者平均14例から21%の下降；新たに増えた死者中、83％に慢性疾患歴があり、60％は3回のワクチン接種未完了者、99％が60歳以上となっていた。最近の台湾では下降の趨
