疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(1)日表示，依丹麥2月26日於「美國醫學會期刊」(JAMA)發表最新研究顯示，針對 65歲以上民眾(共107萬人)以XBB疫苗作為追加劑接種後4週內並未觀察到28種疾病(包括缺血性心臟急症、中風、心肌炎、動靜脈血栓等)的發生率增加，此研究證實了XBB疫苗在65歲以上長者接種的安全性佳。而在國內本土併發症個案及死亡個案中65歲以上長者各占79%及90%，且依先前荷蘭研究顯示新冠XBB疫苗預防長者新。
