疾病管理局（以下、疾管署）は本日（7月23日）、先週（7月16日～7月22日）、台湾で新たにM痘症例4例が確認されたが、全員が30代から40代の台湾籍男性で、M痘ワクチンは未接種であった。居住県・市は北部の3例、中部の1例となっており、7月6日～7月16日の間に発症、体に皮疹や水疱、膿疱などが相次ぎ出現したが、医師の診断後に報告されており、7月だけで既に13例となっているが、昨年10月以来の単月最多記録に。8割以上がワクチンを受けておらず、流行が再び激化しており、疾管署は、接種条件が合致する人々は急ぎ2回のワクチン接種を受け、防護力を高め、自分と集団の免疫力を高め、愛する人々を保護するよう呼び掛けている。

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(23)日公布國內上週（7/16-7/22）新增4例M痘(Mpox)個案，均為本國籍男性且未曾接種M痘疫苗，年齡介於30多歲至40歲，居住縣市為北部3例、中部1例，發病日介於7月6日至7月16日，因身體陸續出現皮疹、水泡、膿疱等症狀，經醫師評估後採檢通報確診， 7月已累計13例M痘病例，為去年10月以來單月新高，且有超過8成未接種過M痘疫苗，疫情再升溫，呼籲符合接種條件民眾儘速打滿2劑M痘疫苗，提升防護力，保護自己也提升群體免疫力，以保護所愛的人。
