09月30日、農業農村部新聞弁公室は、 遼寧省営口市でアフリカ豚コレラ（宮本注： 以下『ASF』）が集団発生したと発表した。

On September 30, 2018, the Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced that an African pig swine epidemic outbreak occurred in Yingkou City, Liaoning Province.
On September 28, 2018, the Liaoning Provincial Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center detected that some samples collected and sent by Yingkou City according to the special monitoring program were positive for African swine fever virus nucleic acid. On September 30, it was diagnosed as African swine fever by the China Center for Animal Health and Epidemiology (National Center for Animal Disease Research). 农业农村部新闻办公室9月30日发布，辽宁省营口市发生生猪非洲猪瘟疫情。
9月28日，经辽宁省动物疫病预防控制中心检测，发现营口市按照专项监测方案要求采集送检的部分样品为非洲猪瘟病毒核酸阳性。9月30日，经中国动物卫生与流行病学中心（国家外来动物疫病研究中心）确诊为非洲猪瘟。阳性样品来自营口市大石桥市、老边区的5户养殖户，共存栏生猪378头，死亡102头。
