中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本4月25日、 オーストラリアで陽性が検出されたパイロットの件で、指揮センターが患者の台湾における行動履歴の調査を開始するとともに台湾における接触者のリスト化と回顧性検査を実施したが、本日新たに回顧的検討で陽性者1例（第1100号）が増えた； 更に、在宅隔離期間満了の1例（第1101号）も陽性を検出されたが、同じ航空会社のパイロットである」と発表した。
指揮センターの説明によると、第1100号患者は、台湾籍の50代男性で、当該航空会社の貨物機の乗組員だ。 2021年4月13日から4月17日まで米国にフライトし、4月18日に台湾に到着、3日間の在宅隔離（宮本注： パイロットは3日間の隔離でよいとされている？）をして4月21日に会社手配の隔離期間満了検査を自費で受けたが結果は陰性であった。 4月22日指揮センターがオーストラリアで陽性が検出されたパイロットの濃厚接触者に対する解雇検討をしたところ、本日確定診断された（Ct値36、入院後のPCR検査結果は陰性、血清抗体陰性）が、感染源を調査しているところだ。 既に濃厚接触者11人が把握されており、うち3人は在宅隔離に、8人は自主健康管理とした；濃厚接触者11名中、5人は既にPCR検査と血清抗体検査を受けており、1人はPCR検査及び血清抗体陰性、4人は検査中、残りの6人は検査待ち」だとのことだ。

The Central Epidemic Command Center stated on April 25th, in response to the airline pilot who was detected COVID-19 positive in Australia, the command center initiated an investigation of the case history in Taiwan, and listing and retrospective examination of contacts in Taiwan. Today, one additional retrospective examination found positive (case 1100); Another new person who had expired home quarantine was found to be positive (case 1101), who was also the same airline’s pilot.
The command center described that the Case 1100 is a 50-year-old male of Taiwanese nationality who is a freighter crew member of the airline. The case has been on duty to the United States from April 13 to April 17, 2021. He arrived in Taiwan on April 18 and was quarantined at home for 3 days. On April 21, the company arranged for inspection at the expiration of his own expense, and the result was negative; On April 22, the command center conducted a retrospective examination of the close contacts of a positive pilot in Australia, and the diagnosis was confirmed today (Ct value 36, negative nucleic acid test after hospitalization, negative serological antibody). The source of infection is currently under investigation. 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(25)日表示，因應某航空公司機師於澳洲檢出COVID-19陽性，指揮中心啟動個案在臺活動史調查，並針對在臺接觸者匡列及回溯採檢，今日再新增1名回溯採檢者檢出陽性(案1100)；另新增一名居家檢疫期滿者檢出陽性(案1101)，同為該航空之機師。
指揮中心說明，案1100為本國籍50多歲男性，為該航空公司之貨機機組員，個案今(2021)年4月13日至4月17日曾執勤至美國，4月18日抵台，居家檢疫3天，4月21由公司安排自費期滿採檢，結果為陰性；4月22日因指揮中心針對澳洲檢出陽性機師之接觸者進行回溯採檢，於今日確診(Ct值36，住院後核酸檢驗陰性，血清抗體陰性)，感染源現正調查中。已掌握接觸者共11人，其中3人列居家隔離，8人列自主健康管理；11名接觸者中5人已採檢核酸及血清抗體，其中1人核酸及血清抗體陰性、4人檢驗中，餘6人待採檢。
