国家 衛生健康委は 11月23日、 10月度の 全国法定伝染病情報を 発布した。
2020年10月 （2020年10月01日00：00 ～ 10月31日 24：00）内の、全国（台湾香港マカオは含まず、以下同）の法定伝染病例は573,957例（宮本注： 前月は535,038例； 38,919人増）、死亡者数は1,739例（前月は2,294例； 554人減に転）であった。
うち、
A（甲）類伝染病では、発症・死亡ともにゼロ。
B（乙）類伝染病はSARS、ポリオ、ヒト感染高病原性鳥インフルエンザ、ジフテリアとH7N9型鳥インフルエンザで発症・死亡なし以外、残22種については、発症258,591例 （前月は287,923例： 29,332人減に転）、死亡1,737例（前月は2,291例： 554人減に転）が報告されている。報告されている発病データの病種ワースト5は、ウィルス性肝炎、肺結核、梅毒、淋病と細菌性・アメーバ性赤痢（5位に細菌性・アメーバ性赤痢が入りエイズはランク外に）で、B類伝染病報告総数の96%を占めていた。

2020年10月01日から10月31日24時までの間、国家衛生健康委は31の省（自治区、直轄市）及び新疆生産建設兵団からの新型コロナウィルス肺炎患者583例、死者0人という報告を受領している。
同期、C（丙）類伝染病では、フィラリア症では発症・死亡ともにゼロだったが、その他10種の伝染病では、発症数は315,366例（前月は247,112例で68,254人増）、死亡は3例（3か月連続3例で変化なし）であった。 発症データの3位までの病種は、手足口病、その他感染性下痢とインフルエンザ（先月と同じ）であり、C（丙）類伝染病報告総数の95％を占めていた。

In October 2020 (0:00 on September 1, 2019 to 24:00 on September 30), the country (excluding Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan, the same hereinafter) reported a total of 535,038 cases and 2,294 deaths.

In Class A infectious diseases, no incidents and no deaths are reported.
There was no report of incidence and morbidity in SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), poliomyelitis, human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza diphtheria and H7N9 Avian influenza, the remaining 22 kinds of Class B infectious diseases reported a total of 258,591 cases and 1,737 deaths. The top five reported cases were viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhea and bacillary dysentery and amebic dysentery; these five diseases account for 96% of the total number of reported cases of Class B infectious diseases.
From 00:00 on October 1 to 24:00 on October 31, the National Health Commission received a total of 583 diagnosed cases and no (0) death of novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) reported from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

2020年10月（2020年10月1日0时至10月31日24时），全国（不含香港、澳门特别行政区和台湾地区，下同）共报告法定传染病573957例，死亡1739人。
其中，甲类传染病无发病死亡报告。乙类传染病中传染性非典型肺炎、脊髓灰质炎、人感染高致病性禽流感、白喉和人感染H7N9禽流感无发病、死亡报告，其余22种乙类传染病共报告发病258591例，报告死亡1737人。报告发病数居前5位的病种依次为病毒性肝炎、肺结核、梅毒、淋病以及细菌性和阿米巴性痢疾，占乙类传染病报告病例总数的96%。10月1日0时至10月31日24时，全国31个省（自治区、直辖市）和新疆生产建设兵团报告新型冠状病毒肺炎确诊病例583例，无死亡病例报告。
同期，丙类传染病中丝虫病无发病、死亡报告，其余10种丙类传染病共报告发病315366例，报告死亡2
