国家 衛生健康委は 01月26日、 12月度の 全国法定伝染病情報を 発布した。
2020年12月 （2020年12月01日00：00 ～ 12月31日 24：00）内の、全国（台湾香港マカオは含まず、以下同）の法定伝染病例は542,172例（宮本注： 前月は583,286例； 41,114人増）、死亡者数は2,279例（前月は1,968例； 411人増）であった。
うち、
A（甲）類伝染病では、発症・死亡ともにゼロ。
B（乙）類伝染病はSARS、ポリオ、ヒト感染高病原性鳥インフルエンザ、ジフテリアとH7N9型鳥インフルエンザで発症・死亡なし以外、残22種については、発症264,109例 （前月は269,673例： 5,564人減に転）、死亡2,377例（前月は1,963例： 414人増）が報告されている。報告されている発病データの病種ワースト5は、ウィルス性肝炎、肺結核、梅毒、淋病とエイズ（前月と同種・同順位）で、B類伝染病報告総数の95%を占めていた。

2020年12月01日から12月31日24時までの間、国家衛生健康委は31の省（自治区、直轄市）及び新疆生産建設兵団からの新型コロナウィルス肺炎患者529例、死者0人という報告を受領している。
同期、C（丙）類伝染病では、フィラリア症では発症・死亡ともにゼロだったが、その他10種の伝染病では、発症数は278,063例（前月は313,613例で35,550人減）、死亡は2例（前月は5例で3人減）であった。 発症データの3位までの病種は、手足口病、その他感染性下痢とインフルエンザ（2か月連続で同じ病種・順位）であり、C（丙）類伝染病報告総数の95％を占めていた。

In December 2020 (0:00 on December 1, 2019 to 24:00 on December 31), the country (excluding Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan, the same hereinafter) reported a total of 542,172 cases and 2,379 deaths.

In Class A infectious diseases, no incidents and no deaths are reported.
There was no report of incidence and morbidity in SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), poliomyelitis, human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza diphtheria and H7N9 Avian influenza, the remaining 22 kinds of Class B infectious diseases reported a total of 264,109 cases and 2,377 deaths. The top five reported cases were viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhea and AIDS; these five diseases account for 95% of the total number of reported cases of Class B infectious diseases.
From 00:00 on December 1 to 24:00 on December 31, the National Health Commission received a total of 529 diagnosed cases and no (0) death of novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) reported from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

2020年12月（2020年12月1日0时至12月31日24时），全国（不含香港、澳门特别行政区和台湾地区，下同）共报告法定传染病542172例，死亡2379人。
其中，甲类传染病无发病死亡报告。乙类传染病中传染性非典型肺炎、脊髓灰质炎、人感染高致病性禽流感、白喉和人感染H7N9禽流感无发病、死亡报告，其余22种乙类传染病共报告发病264109例，报告死亡2377人。报告发病数居前5位的病种依次为病毒性肝炎、肺结核、梅毒、淋病以及艾滋病，占乙类传染病报告病例总数的95%。12月1日0时至12月31日24时，全国报告新型冠状病毒肺炎确诊病例529例，无死亡病例报告。
同期，丙类传染病中丝虫病无发病、死亡报告，其余10种丙类传染病共报告发病278063例，报告死亡2
