1. National COVID-19 Infection Severe Cases and Death Cases Reporting Situation
From September 1 to September 30, 2023, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 398 new severe cases and 45 deaths (Among them, 1 died of respiratory failure caused by COVID-19 infection, and 44 died of underlying diseases combined with COVID-19 infection).
