疾管署は本日（3月12日）、季節が春に入り、腸管系ウイルスの好発する季節が近づいていると発表。CDCの監視データによると、先週（3月3日～3月9日）、腸管系ウイルス（宮本注：以下エンテロウイルス）による救急外来患者は全土で6,084人回に達し、前年同期と比較して過去10年の最高となったが、また、教育・託児施設での過去4週間における腸管系ウイルス流行による休校数の累計は昨年（2023年）

疾病管制署今(12)日表示，隨著時序進入春季，腸病毒好發季節即將到來。依據疾管署監測資料顯示，上週(3月3日至3月9日)全國腸病毒門急診就診計6,084人次，與歷年相比已創近十年以來同期最高，且近四週教托育機構因應腸病毒疫情停課累計已超越去(2023)年同期，依據國內歷年監測資料顯示，腸病毒疫情每年約自3月下旬開始上升，預計最快可能於4月進入流行期，於5月底至6月中達到高峰，須持續注意學幼童傳播風險及腸病毒重症前
