11月16日、農業農村部新聞弁公室は、吉林省白山市渾江区の病死イノシシにアフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下『ASF』）が発生したと発表した。
11月16日11時、農業農村部は、中国動物衛生疫学センター（国家外来動物疾病研究センター）が、吉林省白山市渾江区で一頭の野生イノシシが病死し、検査の結果、ASFウィルスに陽性反応が現れ、確定診断されたとの中国動物疾病予防管理センターの報告を受け取った（吉林省ではこれが第4のケース）。
