11月07日、農業農村部 新聞弁公室は、湖北省（黄岡市）羅田県でアフリカ豚コレラ （宮本注： 以下『ASF』）が 検出されたと発表した。
11月07日、 農業農村部は、 中国動物衛生疫学センター （国家外来動物疾病研究センター）が、 湖北省（黄岡市） 羅田県にある 養豚場での ASF発生を確定診断したとの 中国動物疾病予防管理センター報告を受け取った。 当該養豚場で飼育されていた 821頭のうち、22頭が発症し、4頭が病死している。

On November 7, 2018, the Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced that an African Swine Fever epidemic was detected at Luotian County (of Huanggang City) in Hubei Province.
On November 7, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center mentioning that an African Swine Fever was detected at a pig farmer at Luotian County (of Huanggang City) in Hubei Province.
The farmer had 821 live pigs of which 22 pigs got sick and 4 died.
Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a supervising team to the site. The local government has started the emergency response mechanism according to the requirements, and adopted measures such as blockade, culling, harmless treatment, disinfection, etc., further, treated all the sick and culled pigs harmlessly. 11月7日18时， 农业农村部 接到 中国动物疫病预防控制中心报告， 经 中国动物卫生与流行病学中心 （国家外来动物疫病研究中心） 确诊， 湖北省 罗田县一养殖场 排查出非洲猪瘟疫情。 该养殖场存栏 生猪821头， 发病22头， 死亡4头。
