台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日10月04日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は49,574例（うち本土症例49,509例、輸入症例65例）；更に、確診症例中、31例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例49,509例は、5歳未満から90代の男性23,352例、女性26,140例、性別調査中17例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（9,495例）、台中市（6,583例）、台北市（5,296例）、高雄市（4,914例）、桃園市（4,834例）、台南市（3,745例）、彰化県（2,708例）、屏東県（1,333例）、新竹県（1,279例）、苗栗県（1,278例）、雲林県（1,247例）、宜蘭県（1,154例）、新竹市（991例）、嘉義県（945例）、南投県（845例）、花蓮県（731例）、基隆市（685例）、嘉義市（615例）、台東県（448例）、澎湖県（175例）、金門県（172例）、連江県（36例）となる」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例31例は本土症例で、40代から90代の男性22人、女性16人となる。全員が重症患者であり、27例が慢性疾患を有しており、25例は三回のワクチン未完了（81％）

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Oct. 04) that there were 49,574 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 49,509 local and 65 imported cases; further, there were 31 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 49509 local cases today are 23352 males and 26140 females, (17 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (9495 cases), Taichung City (6583 cases), Taipei City (5296 cases), Kaohsiung City (4914 cases), Taoyuan City (4834 cases), Tainan City (3745 cases), Changhua County (2708 cases), Pingtung County (1333 cases), Hsinchu County (1279 cases), Miaoli County (1278 cases), Yunlin County (1247 cases), Yilan County (1154 cases), Hsinchu City (991 cases), Chiayi County (945 cases), Nantou County (845 cases), Hualien County (731 cases), Keelung City (685 cases), Chiayi City (615 cases), Taitung County (448 cases), Penghu County (175 cases), Jinmen County (172 cases), Lianjiang County (36 cases).
