台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、8月27日、「新たにCOVID-19確診症例が7例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例0例、輸入症例7例となっているが、スウェーデン、米国、インドネシア（3例）、及びインド（2例）；更に、確診症例中、新たに1例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日増えた輸入症例7例は、20代から40代の男性3例、女性4例だが、出国前72時間以内の陰性証明書を携えて8月13日～25日の間にそれぞれスイス（第16058号）、米国（第16059号）、インドネシア（第16060号、16061号、16062号）、及びインド（第16063号、16064号）から入境していた。詳細については添付『☞ 20210827F 台湾新規増加輸入症例7名のリスト』を参照されたい」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例1例（第14879号は、60代男性で、慢性疾患歴及び他の確診症例への暴露歴があった；患者は3月12日に別の理由で入院していたが、6月26日に発熱や咳及び下痢の症状が出現、6月29日に検査が行われ、6月30日に確定診断されたが、8月18日に死亡した」と発表。
指揮センターは、「最近隔離を解除された確診症例については、5月11日～ 8月25日迄に発表された14,740例中、既に13,669人が隔離を解除されており、確診患者総数の92.7％が隔離解除されたことになる」と指摘する。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on Aug. 27 that there were 7 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 0 local cases and 7 imported cases from Sweden, the United States, Indonesia (3cases), and India (2 cases). There was one (1) new death among the confirmed cases.
The command center stated that today there are 7 new cases of overseas immigration, 3 males and 4 females, aged in their 20s to 40s. They entered the country from Sweden (Case 16058), the United States (Case 16059), Indonesia (Case 16060, 16061, 16062) and India (Case 16063, 16064). Their entry date is between August 13th to August 25th today (2021), and they all have a negative test report within 3 days before the flight; Details are as attached to the press release.
The command center explained that there was one new death case today. Case 14879 was a 60-year-old male with a history of chronic disease and contact history with other confirmed cases; He was hospitalized on March 12 for other reasons. He developed fever, cough and diarrhea on June 26. He was taken for examination on June 29. He was diagnosed on June 30 and died on August 18.
The command center pointed out that as for the recently released diagnosed cases from isolation, 13,669 people have been released from quarantine, among 14,740 confirmed cases announced from May 11 to August 25. The number of people released from quarantine has reached 92.7% of the confirmed cases.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(27)日公布國內新增7例境外移入COVID-19病例，分別自瑞典、美國、印尼(3例)及印度(2例)入境；另確診個案中新增1例死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增7例境外移入個案，為3例男性、4例女性，年齡介於20多歲至40多歲，分別自瑞典(案16058)、美國(案16059)、印尼(案16060、16061、16062)及印度(案16063、16064)入境，入境日介於今(2021)年8月13日至8月25日，均持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告；詳如新聞稿附件。
指揮中心說明，今日新增1例死亡個案，案14879為60多歲男性，具慢性病史及其他確診個案接觸史；3月12日因其他原因住院，6月26日出現發燒、咳嗽及腹瀉症狀，6月29日採檢，6月30日確診，8月18日死亡。
指揮中心指出，近期確診個案解隔離情形，5月11日至8月25日累計公布14,740位確診個案中，已有13,669人解除隔離，解隔離人數達確診人數92.7%。
