台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、8月28日、「新たにCOVID-19確診症例が6例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例0例、輸入症例6例となっている。フランス、米国、ベトナム及びカンボジアからの輸入となる；更に、確診症例中、新たに0例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日増えた輸入症例6例は、10代から60代の男性3例、女性3例だが、8月07日～27日の間にそれぞれフランス（第16065号）、米国（第16066号）、その他（第16067号）、ベトナム（第16068号）、パインスタン（第16069号）、及びカンボジア（第16070号）から入境していた。詳細については添付『☞ 20210828F 台湾新規増加輸入症例6名のリスト』を参照されたい」としている。
指揮センターは、「最近隔離を解除された確診症例については、5月11日～ 8月26日迄に発表された14,748例中、既に13,674人が隔離を解除されており、確診患者総数の92.7％が隔離解除されたことになる」と指摘する。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on Aug. 28 that there were 6 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 0 local cases and 6 imported cases from France, the United States, Vietnam, Pakistan, Cambodia and other countries. There was no (0) new death among the confirmed cases.
The command center stated that today there are 6 new cases of immigration from abroad, 3 males and 3 females, aged in their 10s to 60s. They entered the country from France (Case 16065), the United States (Case 16066), others (Case 16067), Vietnam (Case 16068), Pakistan (Case 16069), and Cambodia (Case 16070). Their entry date is between August 7th and August 27th today (2021); Details are as attached to the press release.
The command center pointed out that as for the recently released diagnosed cases from isolation, 13,674 people have been released from quarantine, among 14,748 confirmed cases announced from May 11 to August 26. The number of people released from quarantine has reached 92.7% of the confirmed cases.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(28)日公布國內新增6例境外移入COVID-19病例，分別自法國、美國、越南、巴基斯坦、柬埔寨及其他國家移入；另確診個案中無新增死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增6例境外移入個案，為3例男性、3例女性，年齡介於10多歲至60多歲，分別自法國(案16065)、美國(案16066)、其他(案16067)、越南(案16068)、巴基斯坦(案16069)、柬埔寨(案16070)入境，入境日介於今(2021)年8月7日至8月27日；詳如新聞稿附件。
指揮中心指出，近期確診個案解隔離情形，5月11日至8月26日累計公布14,748位確診個案中，已有13,674人解除隔離，解隔離人數達確診人數92.7%。
指揮中心統計，截至目前國內累計2,618,184例新型冠狀病毒肺炎相關通報(含2,600,433例排除)，其中15,960
