台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日4月16日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は1351例（うち本土症例1199例、輸入症例152例：143例は着陸時検査で陽性とされたもの）；更に、確診症例中では、0例の死亡者が出た」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例1199例は、5歳未満から90代の男性575例、女性623例、性別調査中1例だ。発症日は3月31日から4月16日の間で、672例の無症状感染が含まれる。患者分布は、新台北市（434例）、台北市（206例）、桃園市（159例）、基隆市（92例）、高雄市（60例）、花蓮県（55例）、台中市（40例）、宜蘭県（39例）、台南市（29例）、彰化県（16例）、新竹県（15例）、苗栗県および屏東県（各12例）、新竹市（10例）、台東県（7例）、雲林県および南投県（各5例）、嘉義市（2例）、嘉義県（1例）。関連の調査が進行中である」としている。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (April 16) that there were 1351 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 1199 local and 152 imported cases (143 were positive for flight landing tests); further, there was 0 death.
The command center stated that the new 1199 local cases today are 575 males and 623 females, and 1 is under investigation of gender, aged between under 5 years old and 90s. The date of onset is from March 31 to April 16, 2022, including 672 asymptomatic infections. The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (434 cases), Taipei City (206 cases), Taoyuan City (159 cases), Keelung City (92 cases), Kaohsiung City (60 cases), Hualien County (55 cases), Taichung City (40 cases), Yilan County (39 cases), Tainan City (29 cases), Changhua County (16 cases), Hsinchu County (15 cases), Miaoli County and Pingtung County (12 cases each), Hsinchu City (10 cases), Taitung County (7 cases), Yunlin County and Nantou County (5 cases each), Chiayi City (2 cases), Chiayi County (1 case). The related epidemic investigation is ongoing.
The command center explained that today there are 152 new cases of immigration from abroad, consisting of 66 males and 86 females where 0 case is now under investigation of genders, aged between under 5 years old and 70s. They came from the Philippines (4 cases), Korea (3 cases), Indonesia and Thailand (2 cases each), Singapore and the United States (1 case each), the other 139 cases are under investigation from where they entered; entering Taiwan

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(16)日公布國內新增1,351例COVID-19確定病例，分別為1,199例本土個案及152例境外移入(143例為航班落地採檢陽性)；另確診個案無新增死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之1,199例本土病例，為575例男性、623例女性、1例調查中，年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲，發病日介於今(2022)年3月31日至4月16日，其中包含672例為無症狀感染。個案分佈為新北市(434例)，臺北市(206例)，桃園市(159例)，基隆市(92例)，高雄市(60例)，花蓮縣(55例)，臺中市(40例)，宜蘭縣(39例)，臺南市(29例)，彰化縣(16例)，新竹縣(15例)，苗栗縣及屏東縣(各12例)，新竹市(10例)，臺東縣(7例)，雲林縣及南投縣(各5例)，嘉義市(2例)，嘉義縣(1例)。相關疫情調查持續進行中。
