台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日10月23日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は35,365例（うち本土症例35,322例、輸入症例33例）；更に、確診症例中、65例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例35,322例は、5歳未満から90代の男性16,338例、女性18,969例、性別調査中14例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（6,441例）、台中市（4,655例）、高雄市（4,089例）、桃園市（3,541例）、台北市（3,503例）、台南市（2,925例）、彰化県（1,925例）、屏東県（1,044例）、新竹県（869例）、雲林県（867例）、新竹市（839例）、苗栗県（786例）、南投県（704例）、嘉義県（654例）、宜蘭県（648例）、基隆市（504例）、嘉義市（442例）、花蓮県（397例）、台東県（215例）、金門県（169例）、澎湖県（96例）、連江県（9例）となる」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例は、本土症例65例で、5歳未満から90代以上の男性42人、女性23人となる。全員が重症患者であり、58例に慢性疾患が有り、40例は三回のワクチン未完了（62％）

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Oct. 23) that there were 35,365 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 35,322 local and 43 imported cases; further, there were 65 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 35322 local cases today are 16338 males and 18969 females, (15 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (6441 cases), Taichung City (4655 cases), Kaohsiung City (4089 cases), Taoyuan City (3541 cases), Taipei City (3503 cases), Tainan City (2925 cases), Changhua County (1925 cases), Pingtung County (1024 cases), Hsinchu County (869 cases), Yunlin County (867 cases), Hsinchu City (839 cases), Miaoli County (786 cases), Nantou County (704 cases), Chiayi County (654 cases), Yilan County (648 cases), Keelung City (504 cases), Chiayi City (442 cases), Hualien County (397 cases), Taitung County (215 cases), Jinmen County (169 cases), Penghu County (96 cases), Lianjiang County (9 cases).
