台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日10月12日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は52,405例（うち本土症例52,338例、輸入症例67例）；更に、確診症例中、37例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例52,338例は、5歳未満から90代の男性24,489例、女性27,831例、性別調査中18例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（9,706例）、台中市（6,753例）、高雄市（5,842例）、台北市（5,269例）、桃園市（5,028例）、台南市（4,149例）、彰化県（2,912例）、屏東県（1,776例）、雲林県（1,482例）、苗栗県（1,345例）、新竹県（1,343例）、宜蘭県（991例）、嘉義県（969例）、新竹市（932例）、南投県（817例）、基隆市（748例）、花蓮県（730例）、嘉義市（613例）、台東県（463例）、金門県（246例）、澎湖県（188例）、連江県（36例）となる」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例37例は本土症例で、5歳未満から90代以上の男性25人、女性12人となる。全員が重症患者であり、34例に慢性疾患が有り、25例は三回のワクチン未完了（68％）

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Oct. 12) that there were 52,405 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 52,338 local and 67 imported cases; further, there were 37 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 52338 local cases today are 24489 males and 27831 females, (18 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (9706 cases), Taichung City (6753 cases), Kaohsiung City (5842 cases), Taipei City (5269 cases), Taoyuan City (5028 cases), Tainan City (4149 cases), Changhua County (2912 cases), Pingtung County (1776 cases), Yunlin County (1482 cases), Miaoli County (1345 cases), Hsinchu County (1343 cases), Yilan County (991 cases), Chiayi County (969 cases), Hsinchu City (932 cases), Nantou County (817 cases), Keelung City (748 cases), Hualien County (730 cases), Chiayi City (613 cases), Taitung County (463 cases), Jinmen County (246 cases), Penghu County (188 cases), Lianjiang County (36 cases).
