中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本5月21日、台湾では新たにCOVID-19確診症例が315例増えたが、それぞれ本土症例312例及び、輸入症例3例になると発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに312人の国内症例が見つかったが、5歳から90代までの男性170人、女性142人で、発病日/検査日については、2021年5月8日～5月20日であった。 居住地については、新北市144例（板橋区が37例で最多）が最多で、台北市127例（萬華区が60例で最多）、桃園市13例、基隆市9例、台中市及び彰化県各5例、高雄市4例、宜蘭県2例、屏東県、南投県及び雲林市各1例となった（宮本注： 新たに屏東県、南投県でも発生した形）。うち、萬華地区での活動関連者107例（具体的には『活動』が何を指すのか不明です）、台北茶芸館関連は73例、某社会団体関連6例、果物屋台商人関連5例、その他既に感染源が判っているもの24例、関連性不明なもの72例、感染源調査中25例となっている。関連調査は今もなお進行中である。」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた輸入症例は3例となるが、米、比、加からの入境者だった。第2974号は米国籍の50代女性で、出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって4月28日に米から来台していたが、隔離期間中は無症状で5月20日に検査をしたところ本日確定診断された（出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって4月28日に来台し、隔離期間中の発症で検査を受けたところ、入国後24日目にして確定診断されたということです）。
第3149号はカナダ籍の40代男性で、出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって5月19日に来台した。隔離期間中は無症状であったが5月20日に検査をしたところ本日確定診断された（出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって5月19日に来台し、翌日検査を受けたところ、入国後3日目にして確定診断されたということです）。
第3038号はフィリピン籍の30代男性船員で、出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって5月5日に来台した。隔離期間満了後の5月20日に自費検査を受けたところ本日確定診断された（出国前72時間以内の陰

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on May 21 that there were 315 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan, of which 312 are local cases and 3 are imported cases from abroad.
The command center said,
the newly added 312 local cases today are 170 males and 142 females, aged between 5 and in their 90s. The date of onset/check-up date is between May 8 and May 20, 2021. The counties and cities of residence are 144 cases in New Taipei City (Banqiao District’s 37 cases is the most), 127 cases in Taipei City (60 cases in Wanhua District and less in other place), 13 cases in Taoyuan City, 9 cases in Keelung City, 5 cases in Taizhong City and Changhua County, 4 cases in Kaohsiung City, 2 cases in Yilan County, 1 case in Pingdong county, Nantou County and Yunlin County each. Among them, 107 cases were related to Wanhua District’s activity history, 73 cases were related to tea art houses, 6 cases are related to a certain Social activity entity, 5 cases were related to fruit tray merchants, there were 72 cases of unknown source of infection, 24 cases have been found their source of infection, and 25 cases are still under investigation. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.
The command center pointed out that today,
there are three new cases of overseas immigration from the United States, the Philippines, and Canada. Case 2974 is an American woman in her 50s who entered the country from the United States on April 28. She had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. She was asymptomatic during her stay in Taiwan. She was tested on May 20 and was diagnosed today.
Case 3149 is a Canadian male in his 40s. He entered Canada on May 19 and had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. He had no symptoms at the time of entry. He was tested on May 20 and was diagnosed today.
Case 3038 is a Filipino male crew member in his 30s who had a negative test report within 3 days before boarding. He entered the Philippines on May 5 and was inspected at his own expense on May 20 after the expiration of the

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(21)日公布國內新增315例，312例本土；3例境外移入。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之312例本土個案為170例男性，142例女性，年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲，發病日/採檢日介於今(2021)年5月8日至5月20日。居住縣市以新北市144例最多(以板橋區37例為多)，其次為臺北市127例(以萬華區60例為多)，桃園市13例、基隆市9例、臺中市及彰化縣各5例、高雄市4例、宜蘭縣2例、屏東縣、南投縣、雲林縣各1例。其中萬華活動史相關107例、茶藝館相關73例、某社團相關6例、某水果商相關5例、其他已知感染源24例、關聯不明72例、疫調中25例。相關疫情調查持續進行中。
