台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「8月10日、新たにCOVID-19確診症例が8例増えたが、それぞれ、本土症例3例、輸入症例5例となっている；更に、確診症例中、新たに1例が死亡した」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに国内症例3例が増えた（うち1例は在宅隔中或いは隔離期間満了検査で陽性となった人である：（宮本注：つまり、2週間或いは3週間を超えて感染が確認された事例が斯くも多く存在しているという情報を台湾政府が認めている！）が、20代から60代までの男性1人、女性2人であり、2021年8月2日から8月7日の間に発症していた。 患者分布は、台北市が4例と全てを占めている； そのうち、2例の感染源は既に判明、1例は関連不明、0例が疫学調査中となっているが、関連調査は今なお進められている」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例1例は、50代女性で、慢性疾患歴及び他の患者との接触があった。 6月14日に発熱や喘ぎなどの症状が現れ、病院で検査をうけ、6月15日に検査結果が陽性となり入院、6月17日に確診されたが、8月6日に死亡した」と発表。
指揮センターは、「最近隔離を解除された確診症例については、5月11日～ 8月08日迄に発表された14,583例中、既に13,103人が隔離を解除されており、確診患者総数の89.9％が隔離解除されたことになる」と指摘する。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on Aug. 10 that there were 8 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan consisting of 3 local cases and 5 imported cases from abroad. There were 1 new death among the confirmed cases.
The command center said, the newly added 3 local cases (of which 1 case was those who tested positive during home quarantine/isolation or after the expiry date of isolation) today are 1 male and 2 female, aged in their 20s and 60s, with onset dates between Aug 02 and August 07, 2021. The distribution of cases is 4 cases in Taipei City; Out of 3 local cases, 2 cases are known their sources of infection, 1 cases’ relation is unknown, 0 case is under investigation. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.
The command center explained that there were 1 new death today; the Case 13568 was a female in her 50s having a history of chronical disease and contact(s) to other diagnosed cases. He developed fever and breathlessness on June 14 and was taken to the hospital for examination. He was hospitalized on June 15 after being tested positive. He was diagnosed on June 17 and died on August 6.
The command center pointed out that as for the recently released diagnosed cases from isolation, 13,103 people have been released from quarantine, among 14,583 confirmed cases announced from May 11 to August 07. The number of people released from quarantine has reached 89.9% of the confirmed cases.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(10)日公布國內新增8例COVID-19確定病例，分別為3例本土及5例境外移入；另確診個案中新增1例死亡。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之3例本土病例(其中1例為居家隔離期間或期滿檢驗陽性者)，為1例男性、2例女性，年齡介於20多歲至60多歲，發病日介於今(2021)年8月2日至8月7日。個案分布均在新北市；其中2例為已知感染源、1例關聯不明，將持續進行疫情調查，以釐清感染源。
指揮中心說明，今日新增1例死亡個案(案13568)，為50多歲女性，有慢性病史及其他確診個案接觸史，6月14日出現發燒、呼吸喘等症狀至醫院採檢，6月15日檢驗陽性並住院，6月17日確診，8月6日死亡。
