中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本4月29日、 新たにCOVID-19の確診症例2例の本土症例、調査中の確診症例1例が増えたが、本土症例のうち、1例は空港防疫ホテルのスタッフ（第1120号）、他の1例は第1078号患者の同居家族（第1121号）である； 調査中の症例は、某航空会社（宮本注： 中華航空です）のパイロット（第1122号）だ」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「第1120号患者は、台湾籍の40代男性で、空港検疫ホテルの従業員で、最近の海外渡航歴はなく、彼の通常業務は、環境の清潔さをチェックすることだが、時折、乗務員の物品購入やスペアパーツ配送を手伝ったりしており、作業中はマスクと手袋を着用していた。 患者には4月17日から咳や鼻水、食欲不振及び息切れなどの症状が相次ぎ現れ、4月19日～26日の間に何度もクリニックを受診していた。 症状が改善せず、4月27日に病院を受診したところ、肺炎の兆候が見られたために入院隔離治療並びに検査が行われ、本日確定診断された（Ct値21、血清抗体IgM及びIgGは全て陽性）」としている。
指揮センターは、「第1120号患者は、一人住まいであり、同居家族はいないが、既に初期段階で友人や職場の接触者、病院受診時の接触者などの濃厚接触者107人が把握されている。 うち、4人は在宅隔離に、103人は自主健康管理にした。 患者の行動履歴と接触歴の調査が継続されており、濃厚接触者とされる可能性がある。 空港検疫ホテルスタッフが確定診断されたことにより、指揮センターは全従業員に対する検査を呼び戻し、現在ホテルにいるスタッフは本日全員を集中検疫所に送り、既に当該ホテルの環境サンプル39件が検査に送付されている」と指摘している。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on April 29 that there were 2 new domestic cases and 1 confirmed case of COVID-19 under investigation in China. Among the local cases, one is an employee of an airport epidemic prevention hotel (case 1120), and the other is a family member living with the case 1078 (case 1121); the case under investigation was an airline pilot (case 1122) of the airline.
The command center said, the Case 1120 is a Taiwanese male in his 40s. He is an employee of an airport epidemic prevention hotel. He has no recent history of going abroad. His usual job is to check the cleanliness of the room environment. He occasionally assists the flight crew to purchase items or send spare parts, and wear masks and gloves during work. The case began to develop symptoms such as cough, runny nose, loss of appetite, and wheezing from April 17th, and went to the clinic several times for medical treatment from April 19th to April 26th. Because his symptoms did not improve, he went to the hospital for medical treatment on April 27. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and was admitted to hospital for isolation and examination. He was diagnosed today (Ct value 21, serum antibodies IgM and IgG are positive).
The command center pointed out that in case 1120, who lived alone and did not live with their family members, the health unit has initially grasped 107 contacts, including friends, workplace contacts, and medical contacts. Among them, 4 are listed as home isolation and 103 are listed as independent health management. 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(29)日公布國內新增2例本土及1例調查中COVID-19確定病例，本土病例中，1例為機場防疫旅館員工(案1120)、1例為案1078同住家人(案1121)；調查中病例為某航空公司機師(案1122)。
指揮中心表示，案1120為本國籍40多歲男性，為機場防疫旅館員工，近期無出國史，平時工作項目為檢查房間環境之清潔，偶爾協助機組員購買物品或送備品，工作期間佩戴口罩及手套。個案4月17日起陸續出現咳嗽、流鼻水、食慾不振及呼吸喘等症狀，並於4月19日至4月26日間多次至診所就醫，因症狀未改善，4月27日至醫院就醫，經診斷有肺炎情形，收治住院隔離並採檢，於今日確診(Ct值21，血清抗體IgM及IgG皆為陽性)。
指揮中心指出，案1120獨居未與家人同住，已初步掌握接觸者107人，包括友人、職場接觸者及就醫接觸者等，其中4人列居家隔離、103人列自主健康管理，將持續調查個案活動史及接觸史，匡列可能接觸者。因
