中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本5月19日、台湾では新たにCOVID-19確診症例が275例増えたが、それぞれ本土症例267例及び、輸入症例8例となっていると発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに267人の国内症例が見つかったが、5歳から80代までの男性127人、女性140人で、発病日/検査日については、2021年4月30日～5月18日であった。 居住地については、新北市129例（中和区が26例で最多）、台北市70例（萬華区が31例で最多）、彰化県28例、桃園市16例、高雄市8例、台中市5例、基隆市4例、宜蘭県3例、台南市及び新竹市各2例となり、台南市が新たに増えた県・市となる（宮本注： 台中市、高雄氏に加え台南市と南方にまで飛び火していることになります）。うち、萬華地区での活動関連者87例（具体的には何を指すのか不明です）、台北茶芸館関連は73例、果物屋台商人関連28例、某社会団体関連2例、進香団（お香を聞く「聞香」グループのようです）1例となっているが、感染源不明なものが49例、感染源調査中27例となっている。 関連調査が進行中である。」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた輸入症例は8例となるが、5例はインドから、2例はフィリピンから、1例は日本からの輸入である（日本からの輸出は、日本人1例を含めてこれで4人目になります）。全員が出国前72時間以内の陰性証明報告書を携えて来台しており、台湾に入境してからは無症状であった。
第2358号は台湾籍の20代男性で、4月25日に日本から入境、隔離期間満了後は自主健康管理をしていたが、5月17日に自費検査を受けたところ、本日確定診断された（出国前72時間以内の陰性証明をもって

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on May 19 that there were 275 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan, 267 local cases and 8 imported cases from abroad.
The command center said,
the newly added 267 local cases today are 127 males and 140 females, aged between 5 and 80 years old. The date of onset/check-up date is between April 30 and May 18, 2021. The counties and cities of residence are 129 cases in New Taipei City (more than 26 cases in Zhonghe District), 70 cases in Taipei City (more than 31 cases in Wanhua District), 28 cases in Changhua County, 16 cases in Taoyuan City, 8 cases in Kaohsiung City, and Taichung City 5 cases, 4 cases in Keelung City, 3 cases in Yilan County, 2 cases each in Tainan City and Hsinchu City; the newly added county is Tainan City.
The counties and cities of residence are 129 cases in New Taipei City (more than 26 cases in Zhonghe District), 70 cases in Taipei City (more than 31 cases in Wanhua District), 28 cases in Changhua County, 16 cases in Taoyuan City, 8 cases in Kaohsiung City, and Taichung City 5 cases, 4 cases in Keelung City, 3 cases in Yilan County, 2 cases each in Tainan City and Hsinchu City; the newly added county is Tainan City. Among them, 87 cases were in Wanhua District’s activity history, 73 cases were related to tea art houses, 28 cases were related to fruit tray merchants, 2 cases were related to a group of associations, and 1 case was an incense group. There were 49 cases of unknown source of infection and 27 cases under investigation. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.
The command center pointed out that
there are 8 new cases of overseas immigration today, 5 cases in India, 2 cases in the Philippines, and 1 case in Japan. All have a negative test report within 3 days before the flight, and have no symptoms during their stay in Taiwan. Case 2358 is a Taiwanese male in his 20s. He entered Taiwan from Japan on April 25 and managed his own health after the quarantine period expired. He was inspected at his own expense on May

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(19)日公布國內新增275例COVID-19確定病例，分別為267例本土及8例境外移入。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之267例本土個案為127例男性、140例女性，年齡介於未滿5歲至80多歲，發病日/採檢日介於今(2021)年4月30日至5月18日，居住縣市分別為新北市129例(中和區26例為多)、臺北市70例(萬華區31例為多)、彰化縣28例，桃園市16例、高雄市8例、臺中市5例、基隆市4例、宜蘭縣3例、臺南市及新竹市各2例；新增縣市為臺南市。其中萬華區活動史87例、茶藝館相關73例、水果盤商相關28例、某社團相關群聚2例、進香團1例。不明感染源49例、疫調中27例。相關疫情調查持續進行中。
指揮中心指出，今日新增之8例境外移入個案，5例印度、2例菲律賓、1例日本。皆持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，在臺期間並無症狀。案2358為本國籍20多歲男性，4月25日自日本入境，檢疫期滿後自主健康管理，5月17日自費採檢，並於今日確診。案2359、案2538為菲律賓籍20多歲男性移工與40多歲女性
