中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本5月17日、台湾では新たにCOVID-19確診症例が335例増えたが、それぞれ本土症例333例（第1684～2016号）、輸入症例2例（第2017、第2018号）であったと発表した。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに333人の国内症例が見つかったが、5歳から90代までの女性189人、男性144人で、発病日/検査日については、2021年5月4日～5月16日であった。 居住地については、台北市158例（萬華区が89例で最多）、新北市148例（板橋区が41例で最多）、桃園市10例、基隆市6例、彰化県5例、台中市及び宜蘭県各2例、新竹県及び苗栗県各1例となっている。うち、台北茶芸館関連は155例、萬華地区での活動関連者86例、南部進香園6例、某社会団体関連5例、宜蘭遊技場関連は3例。 感染源調査中は38例、クラスターの関連不明な人は40例となっているが、関連の調査が進行中である」と発表した。
指揮センターは、本日新たに増えた2例の輸入症例は、フィリピン籍の30代男性、台湾籍の20代女性であるが、それぞれフィリピンとハイチからの入境者であり、いずれも出国前72時間以内の陰性証明報告書を携えて4月30日と5月16日に入境していた。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on May 17 today that there were 335 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan, 333 local cases (Case 1684 to Case 2016) and 2 cases (Case 2017, Case 2018) imported from abroad.
The command center said,
the newly added 333 cases in Taiwan today are 189 females and 144 males. The age ranged from under 5 to over 90s. The date of onset/collection was between May 5 and May 16, today (2021). The counties and cities of residence are 158 cases in Taipei City (89 cases in Wanhua District), 148 cases in New Taipei City (41 cases in Banqiao District), 10 cases in Taoyuan City, 6 cases in Keelung City, 5 cases in Changhua County, 2 cases each in Taichung City and Yilan County, Hsinchu 1 case each in the county and Miaoli county. among them there are 155 cases in Taipei Tea House, 86 cases related to Wanhua’s history of activities, 6 cases related to the Southern Fragrance Group, 5 cases related to a group gathering, and 3 cases related to Yilan Recreation Center gathering. There were 38 cases in the epidemic investigation and 40 cases with unknown clustering associations. Related epidemic investigations are ongoing.
The command center pointed out that the two newly added cases of overseas immigration today are a Filipino male in his 30s and a female in her 20s who entered the Philippines and Haiti respectively. The entry date is April 30 and May 16, and both have a negative test report within 3 days before the flight.
The command center’s data shows there have been a total of 245,801 notifications related to novel coronavirus pneumonia in China (including 236,103 excluded cases). Among them, 2,017 cases were confirmed, 1,081 cases imported from abroad, 883 local cases, 36 cases of Dunmu fleet, 2 cases of aircraft infection and 1 case of unknown

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(17)日公布國內新增335例COVID-19確定病例，分別為333例本土(案1684至案2016)及2例(案2017、案2018)境外移入。
指揮中心表示，今日新增之333例本土個案為189例女性、144例男性，年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲，發病日/採檢日介於今(2021)年5月5日至5月16日，居住縣市分別為臺北市158例(萬華區89例最多)、新北市148例(板橋區41例最多)、桃園市10例，基隆市6例、彰化縣5例、臺中市及宜蘭縣各2例、新竹縣及苗栗縣各1例。其中臺北茶藝館 155例、萬華活動史相關 86例、南部進香團 6例、某社團群聚相關 5例、宜蘭遊藝場群聚相關 3例，疫調中有38例、群聚關聯不明者40例。相關疫情調查持續進行中。 指揮中心指出，今日新增之2例境外移入個案為菲律賓籍30多歲男性、本國籍20多歲女性，分別自菲律賓、海地入境，入境日為4月30日與5月16日，皆持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告。
